In 2003, Dr Robert Weld-Moore graduated from the prestigious Trinity College Dublin. He then commenced work in general dental practices in both Ireland and the UK. In 2006, Dr Weld-Moore returned to the Dublin Dental Hospital and worked as a Senior House Officer. While there, he was awarded Membership to the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MFDS).

Attaining Expertise in the UK and Australia

In 2008, Dr Weld-Moore moved to the UK, where he worked in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in King’s College Hospital. After that, he served as a Staff Grade Oral Surgeon in the world-renowned Oral and Maxillofacial Department in Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead.

Following this appointment, Dr Weld-Moore was drawn to sunny Australia. He spent three years working in Sydney. In 2015, he returned to Ireland to begin additional specialist training in oral surgery.

Advancing His Education

In 2018, Dr Weld-Moore completed his Clinical Doctorate in Oral Surgery (D.Ch.Dent) from Trinity College Dublin. As part of the academic program, he wrote a thesis on the effect of osteoporosis on the facial bones. He has written articles for many peer-reviewed journals, including the esteemed British Dental Journal.

To stay up to date with the latest advances in oral surgery, Dr Weld-Moore is a member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons (BAOS). He attends the annual BAOS conference.

Providing Compassionate Dentistry

To put his nervous patients at ease, Dr Weld-Moore treats them with compassion and respect. He also is able to provide specialist oral surgery treatment under local or general anaesthesia.

Staying Active in Inner West Sydney

When he’s not at our dental office, Dr Weld-Moore enjoys the lifestyle that New South Wales has to offer. He particularly likes to water surf on the weekend.
